You must be 13 years of age or older to use Goalforit.com In addition, please note that profiles for people under the age of 18 are not displayed in the Browse section of the site out of regard for their privacy.

If you want to change the frequency of an email reminder, or simply turn it off, you have two options:

You can manage all your email reminder settings on your Email Notification Settings tab. You can access this tab by signing into the site and clicking on the Edit Account & Profile link under your picture on your profile page. Once the Edit page is displayed, click on the Email Notification Settings tab. Once you have made any changes, be sure to click the Save button at the bottom of the page.

You can also change a specific email reminder setting for a chart, list or goal by clicking on it's options link on your profile page.

You can manage all your email settings on your Email Notification Settings tab. You can access this tab by signing into the site and clicking on the Edit Account & Profile link under your picture on your profile page. Once the Edit page is displayed, click on the Email Notification Settings tab. Once you have made any changes, be sure to click the Save button at the bottom of the page.

If you have not yet registered to become a member, during the registration process you will have the option to set your profile to be viewable only by your friends in the Profile Settings section.

If you are already a registered member, you can make your profile viewable to only your friends on your Profile & Account Info tab. You can access this tab by signing into the site and clicking on the Edit Account & Profile link under your picture on your profile page. Once you have made any changes, be sure to click the Save button at the bottom of the page.

You can update your Profile Picture or About Me section on your Profile & Account Info tab. You can access this tab by signing into the site and clicking on the Edit Account & Profile link under your picture on your profile page. Once you have made any changes, be sure to click the Save button at the bottom of the page. 

To cancel your account on Goalforit, sign into the site and click on the Edit Account & Profile link under your picture on your profile page. You will then be taken to your Edit page. At the bottom of this page you will find the " I would like to cancel my Goalforit account" link. Click on this link and follow then follow the steps.

The News Room appears on the right side of your Profile page, and it displays: (1) updates on what the people you have added to your Friends Network are doing on Goalforit. And (2) your activity. You can filter the News Events appearing in your News Room by clicking on “Friends”, “Me” or “All”.

Updates broadcasted into your News Room are a great way to stay connected and up to date on the goals that the people you have added to your Friends Network are pursuing. Clicking through on updates will give you the opportunity to leave cheers and comments for motivation , praise and encouragement. Remember, community support is a big success factor for staying focused and achieving success.

You can add people to your Friends Network by clicking on the "Add as Friend" link on a member's profile page (this link is located underneath the person's profile picture). Once you have clicked the “Add as Friend” link, the person will be sent a “Let’s be Friends” invitation. Please also see the FAQ below on "How can I find friends and family on Goalforit?"

There are two ways to remove a friend from your Friends Network. You can remove a friend by clicking on the Friends Tab on your profile page and then clicking on the Remove Friend Icon located underneath their profile picture. Or, you can go to the friend’s Profile page by clicking on their picture, and then click on the “Remove from Friends” link located underneath their profile.

The friend will not be notified that you have removed them. Also please note, removing a person from your Friends Network will automatically remove them from your News Room as well.
