About Me

I will be 30 years old in September, and I've not done anything special with my life.  I have a wonderful husband, nice home, good friends, and a job I enjoy, but I don't really feel like I've been living - only existing.  I thought back to a year ago and realized that not much has changed - still overweight, still in debt, and still not doing much.  I decided that one year from now, I want my life to look different - thinner, more debt paid off, and a plan for how I want to live.  I don't want to look back on my life when I'm old to discover I missed LIVING.

SO.  By this time next year (April 2010):

I want to be a size 14 at least, so I can physically do the things listed under my "Do Fun Stuff" goal.

Have all credit card debt paid OFF.

Know what I'm supposed to do as a career.

No clutter/junk in my house.

Book my cruise!

Be ready to contribute to a retirement fund.

Hey there, thanks for you comment. I need to have clear steps, or I tend to just drift sideways and eventually give up. Michael (the guy who runs this site) gave me a tip. He told me that having clear steps in an action plan is what really helps turn the dream (the goal) into a reality for you have a clear path and can check in and review your progress consistently to see if your plan is working or not. For me, normally I end up editing my goal by tweaking my steps as I go. And that has really helped me stay on top of the things I want to get done. Wishing you the best and thanks again.

Emma, I wish you all the strength and passion you need to accomplish this goal! There is no luck when it comes to the perfect match, be it a relationship or business venture. We all have a purpose, and it is one of the greatest days when it is finally revealed to us. Stick to it, and all the best!!
