My GPA was .01 short of my goal. Ah, what the heck, I hit it!
Words cannot express how awesome that road trip was! We went up in the space needle, took a ferry ride, hiked to the top of Multnomah Falls, got to meet up with friends I haven't seen in over 5 years, saw the 3rd most romantic place in the nation according to travel magazine: Haystack Rock, Oregon, spent the night in downtown Portland and downtown Seattle! It was the sweetest trip of my life! A nice break from the never-ending homework and stress at work. If I can recommend a place to go to, take that trip! It will rock your world!
So, I tried to do this on Saturday, but I overdressed and was sweating by the time I got to the Y. The boots I wore sucked, I'm definitely taking my Hitechs next time. Also, taking my coat sucked because I had to carry it the whole way. When I first got there around 2:30, a group of guys and girls were running down the trail in shorts and T-shirts. They said they went all the way to the top of Y trail in knee-waist deep snow. But they looked fine. They said it wasn't bad. Some old guy like in his 60s was jogging up to Eagle Pass with a Tshirt and sweats. Next time, I'm bringing less crap.
