I WON MONEYYYYYY!!!!!! First time on wed. sept 22 2010. High game 217...came in 2nd in the bracket for 10 more. ITS A START!!! i know my problems and i intend on correcting them.

Patience mang patience!


WOrked hard today on my footwork...as always...tuesday will be my litmus test to check and see if I really have it down...more of just a standard approach minus the towel. Warm up however with towel...I have great footwork tho...great footwork...

Things I did well

1. Exhibited patience!

2. Great footwork!

3. Better Stance!

4. Took my time!

5. Good balance!

Post Practice V1


Cool So I worked on my footwork today...What I need to do is go sick with my footwork as it was awesome!...Repetition until Wednesday with full focus on footwork. Then i will only drill it for 10 reps from all sides of the lane at the beginning of each session coupled with a straighter slide. Working on what i did right... lets see.

1. I worked on my footwork with great discipline...could have been a tad better, but my footwork is grand now!

2. I did not care for my score A HOOT!

3.Slid with my heel in!

4. Got use to my new camera quickly to improve the learning curve!

5. Had a good stance!

6. Concentrated on ONE THING!

For now...I think I am going to work on just my footwork until tuesday...then drill it only at the beginning of the session. Then it is swing work time! Great job Today!

Go sick


Experimenting with the faster walk did not work...My first step got long and my pushaway got long as well...My stance is great. My accuracy is soooo good via my hand position...(note: need to feel weight of ball in right palm) and my pushaway is great...needs to be slightly more level, but i'm not gonna fret too much about it. The distance it is "placed" out will make it more level. In addition, my first step is small...so good shit! Make sure to keep in mind hand position.

dedicay-shun


So in the last week or so...I have rededicated myself to bowling. I have a broader sense of the history of the game, lane dimensions, mental game, as well as the first aspect of my physical game and equipment, my grip. I am now a level 1 coach via the USBC course i took. I learned about the lane dimensions to a degree further than i ever had before. Little things make champions...i'm goin sick. Also, with my grip, i need to remember that because i use inserts they wear out and they are not as tight...I think i need to put a full piece of tape in the back of my holes to make sure tape doesn't slip out.

Smaller portions: Check...or not?


Need to reduce fatty foods to half a portion...example...one tablespoon of peanut butter and only 10 cashew nuts vs. 2 full servings. Also, still eat half a sandwich...but also limit nonfat milk to breakfast and 6th meal. Maintain water regimen. Used processed carbs in moderation...may only want to have half a bagel vs full bagel...On 2nd thought...may want to have a protein shake for breakfast...and before bed/after workout. That is the only time I will have my dairy unless I use fat free cream cheese in moderation every once in a while with a half a bagel.

Pushaway and armswing...


When all else fails...keep it simple...pushaway is straight, soft, extended, and delicate...don't worry about pushing it to the left...its too complicated...out and down... and straight.

Smaller portions?


Did well today eating only what I felt was necessary. Maybe i need smaller portions? I will stick with bigger portions for a while and at the end of the 2nd week if my BF isn't 13 or below i will drop portion size.

interesting goal to say the least...


did well today with regards to technique...Going to have to do knee exercises to strengthen my left knee...if i am going to be a pro bowler my knee can not be in this much pain... Anyway, i need to find that battery for my countdown timer...PBA rules state that one has 25 seconds from the time the ball comes back from the ball return or an opponent walks off the approach to take the shot...With regards to my finish...i did an excellent job...but i am going to have to strengthen my knee joint if i am to keep up my deep sit tall finish position...this is where conditioning comes in hardcore!

still thinking a little much today


Still thinking a lil much. Gotta strive to be a tad bit more accurate in my balance line drill. Otherwise, im doing all right. One drill a day per warm up is fine after this week. Edit my other goal.
